Functional Patterns Human Foundations Practitioner

What is your current title? Additional certifications or experience?

  • Functional Patterns Human Foundations Practitioner
  • Started training with the Functional Patterns system in February 2025

What is your background/history that applies to your role?

Throughout my life, I never realized the importance of human biomechanics. Growing up, I was athletic and played basketball. Intuitively, I knew not to engage in traditional heavy weightlifting and other strenuous workouts. It was never a logical approach in my mind, even though I had dysfunctions I was unaware of. Being a leader on and off the court directly translates to my job as a practitioner, realizing patterns and leading individuals in the right direction. Working with the public as a store manager has also helped me significantly with problem solving skills in real time. Skills that allows me to help change lives with Functional Patterns.

Why did you choose Functional Patterns? Do you have a personal story?

I was introduced to Functional Patterns by a Practitioner. At this time, I had no idea I was living with dysfunctions in my body. 3 months prior to being introduced to FP, I was doing traditional weightlifting and strenuous workouts. Those workouts did absolutely nothing for me except make me feel sore. I was also in a very rough place in my life mentally that I thought I would never get over. My self confidence was also extremely low. Functional Patterns saved my life. In just 3 months of doing Functional Patterns, my body completely transformed and I became almost unrecognizable. My brain is completely rewired. I never knew that I could achieve the level of fitness that I obtained. Now, I’m moving better than I ever have before and eliminated pain that I did experience. My results pushed me to want to help others achieve the body they deserve.

    What are you passionate about?

Helping people is what I’m most passionate about. I learned that it’s my purpose in the life we live. Helping others achieve results puts a smile on my face and on my heart. I’m extremely thankful to be able to help people change their lives. The mind, body and soul all correlates with one another. Helping others physically leads to helping spiritually, and I’m extremely thankful to be a part of numerous individuals’ process of becoming better.

What are you focused on developing or what is a future goal?

I’m focused on developing more skills as a practitioner to be able to approach all sorts of problems with different bodies and different dysfunctions. I’m going to continue spreading the word of Move As A Human for people to learn about the Functional Patterns system. Becoming a Human Biomechanics Specialist is a future goal of mine that I plan to achieve.

What do you hope to accomplish as a Functional Patterns practitioner?

As a Functional Patterns Practitioner, I hope to help people achieve a level within themselves they never deemed possible in their mind. Improve posture, improve movement and regain confidence in and out of the gym. I want people to know that everyone can do Functional Patterns and get life changing results. I also want to train athletes to amplify their abilities, reducing the risk of injuring themselves.
