Meet Corrado Corradi
Functional Patterns Human Foundations Practitioner
What is your current title? Additional certifications or experience?
- Functional Patterns Human Foundations Practitioner
- 4+ years of experience training with the Functional Patterns system
- Background in law, executive leadership, and corrective movement education
What is your background/history that applies to your role?
I’ve spent years exploring how movement affects the way we feel, perform, and live. After years in high-stress professional environments, I realized how important posture, mechanics, and lifestyle patterns are to long-term health. My background in law and leadership gave me a strong understanding of human behavior, systems, and problem solving — skills that translate directly into helping clients identify and correct inefficiencies in their own movement patterns.
Why did you choose Functional Patterns? Do you have a personal story?
I discovered Functional Patterns while searching for a long-term solution to chronic tightness and poor posture. Traditional training methods weren’t improving how I moved or felt. Functional Patterns changed everything — my pain reduced, my energy improved, and I finally started moving efficiently again. The results were so profound that I wanted to help others experience the same transformation.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about helping people move and live better — not just in the gym, but in everyday life. I believe that optimizing movement can improve how we think, perform, and age. I’m also passionate about continuous learning, travel, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.
What are you focused on developing or what is a future goal?
My current focus is refining my assessment process and advancing toward the Human Biomechanics Specialist certification. Long-term, I aim to help expand Functional Patterns training throughout the Detroit area and create a movement-focused community built around sustainable health and performance.
What do you hope to accomplish as a Functional Patterns practitioner?
I want to help people eliminate pain, improve posture, and unlock confidence in how they move. My goal is to make Functional Patterns training approachable and effective for anyone — from professionals with desk jobs to athletes looking to enhance performance. Ultimately, I hope to inspire people to take ownership of their health and longevity.
